I loved the vibe, the people, the location… and most of all, the staff is so welcoming! Hams, Merna and everybody else really made me feel welcome (like everyone in Alexandria ❤️) There’s a common room where you can meet and get to know other travelers. Breakfast is served there with falafel, sweets, cheese… The hostel is open 24/7, perfect to enjoy Alexandria’s nightlife ! I can’t thank them enough. And I will be back here for sure 😉

Abeer Hotel Alexandria is located directly on the Mediterranean sea of the old Greek harbor of Alexandria in one of the oldest neighborhoods of Downtown. if you get a slightly upgraded room they’re pretty clean and great value for money. Good for overnight emergency/travel stays when you need to be downtown. staff are friendly. entrance is more scary than the hotel actually is-I only found out about it through a local I met otherwise I would’ve never tried. make sure to go to 7th floor when you reach the building bc that’s not obvious. At the low price don’t expect 4-5 star service…it’s a fresh bed and a toilet and smoker-friendly and not a hostel that you have to share.
