One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. All made with heart and love. Modern renovation, cozy common rooms, new good matresses and pillows. Really friendly and helpful staff. I felt like home in this hostel. During my stay the hostel was booked out, a popular place to stay in Quito. The street is calm and safe. Next to the hostel there is a cute restaurant El Cafecito with quite cheap prices.

Airport shuttle and city tours are available for additional surcharge. This is the 3rd time I've stayed here while having eye surgery conveniently nearby. I am rebooking for a friend today. The facilities are well maintained, spotlessly clean, comfortable and the staff most helpful and understanding of our needs. Breakfast is healthful and excellent. Two small items installed in the rooms would add to the comfort of guests, a hot pot and a table lamp. Great value for the price.

Only 500 metres from Foch Square, Posada del Maple has practical rooms with private bathrooms. It features a common living room with a fireplace and a small patio with plants. WiFi is free in some areas. I highly recommend this place! They are very accommodating and make sure that everything is going good for your stay. The rooms are really great for the price. I would recommend the double room as it’s a lot bigger than the single room. :) The hostal is located on a quiet street and I felt pretty safe walking by myself. I recommend walking to La Floresta where you’ll find lots of restaurants. I had no problems walking from the hostal. The walk is about 15 min. Also this place is pretty modern and very clean. They have a fully equipped kitchen and overall it’s very good for the price.
