Tenzin is adorable, he speaks English (rare in China!) and is always here to help. We were dropped off to the station when leaving which was also super nice. Highly recommend!!

The best place to know the city of Shangri-la. The Jun family and staff are very kind and easy to get information about the city. The hostel is lovely and very comfortable. The shower is great, very warm for the cold days and always being clean. The night can sit around the wood stove, have tea and make new friends. Also has a diverse kitchen, I ordered some dishes with friends and it was all delicious! The location is also perfect, I did everything by walking.

Localizado na Cidade Antiga de Shuhe, o Desti Youth Park fica a cerca de 20 minutos de carro do Lijiang Dayan Old Town. The environment is spacious, with three large yards and a large public area. You can drink tea, chat and bask in the sun. It is clean and tidy.

I stayed in a dorm and in a private room. Both were amazing. Comfy bed and great facilities. Please note that my dorm had a squatting toilet. The private room had a "normal" toilet. The place is impeccably clean and modern. Location is great, very close to the touristy old town gate. Helpful staff as well

O Mama Naxi Guesthouse é um hostel de estilo familiar que disponibiliza acomodações acolhedoras em Lijiang e é gerido pelos hóspedes Nakhi locais e desfruta de uma história de 15 anos. We liked everything in here. The owner lady welcomed us at the train station and she didn't charge us for the ride. At the guest house, which is something like less than a 10 minute walk to the old city, she also invited us for a cup of tea. She speaks good English and is very helpful with anything you need. She also makes yummy breakfasts that we didn't find elsewhere in China!!! The furniture at the reception is a bit oldie in our opinion but it simply reflects the Chinese style so don't get discouraged by that. It was all great for us. Located in the centre of Wuhua District, Kunming, Kunming Upland International Youth Hostel offers simple yet comfortable accommodation with free WiFi in public areas. I loved having a single room in a hostel, play pool, talk to the friendly staff, there is a lot of space and a nice rooftop to take photos of the sunset. Easy to walk to the green lake to chill.
