Owned by a talented flower artist, Peking Youth Hostel is housed in a traditional Chinese building located along the lively Nanluogu Xiang, one of the famous Hutongs in downtown Beijing. Good temperature in winter, and the best location. It’s on the best street for going out to have a walk like a local and eat some great food. Also it’s very well connected to the subway.

Beijing P.Loft Hostel is located in downtown Beijing, within the hutong (alley houses) neighborhood behind the Lama Temple. Beijing’s top attractions are easily within reach via subway. The bathroom/shower was always clean as well as the common area. I loved that they always had hot water for guests and the use of the microwave, and, most of all, I forgot some really important things and they sent me my package to my next destination in a timely fashion. I’m so grateful for the staff there. They have so many guests coming and going, I know they’re really busy and get all kinds of guests, but they’re really kind and patient.
