The food is nutritious, coffee is great and the main star of the show is the bread! Some say it is absolutely worth staying at Casa la Barca solely in order to try THAT BREAD! :)

David is an excellent host who will make you feel at home. The location is great, between the airport and Pajaritos bus terminal. I wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the hostel more. Jean Paul instantly made us feel at home. Highly recommend staying here should you wish to stay at a hostel in Santiago. Although it is said that this area has become less safe due to the recent situation in chile Jean guided us on the dos and don’ts and we felt very safe.

Only 200 metres from Santa Isabel Metro Station, Ventana Sur Hostal features a swimming pool and a terrace. Free Wi-Fi and breakfast are provided. Common kitchen and BBQ facilities are available. This place is amazing, especially for solo travelers. It's set up in a way that makes it really easy to hang out in the central garden space, and everyone just chats and goes out together. The pool's also great for a hot day. The location is AMAZING. I love the Italiano neighborhood. It's super safe to walk around at night. The breakfast is huge and filling. I liked it so much I came back.
