Located in the Urseren Valley between the Gotthard, Furka and Oberalp passes, Jugendherberge Hospental has a garden and ski storage facilities. Hospental Train Station is just 500 metres away. Exceptionally nice hosts, great dinner and very rich breakfast. Very good location for mountain biking

Set only 40 metres from the bus stop in Wassen, Gotthard Backpacker offers free parking and bicycle storage. A common kitchen and a lounge area are provided. This was a one night stay for our 6-membered family in room with 6 beds with shared bathroom and we were a little worried if this accomodation would be comfortable enough for us to rest. In the end it turned out beyond our expectations - the beds are solid and large enough, there are three huge and clean shared toilettes/bathrooms and there is also clean and equipped small kitchen and dining room for sharing, so we made a breakfast in the morning. The house is very nice and quite, in the beatiful and peaceful surrounding (definitely worth of visiting for more than one day) and the hosts are very kind.

Gasthaus Skiklub sijaitsee Ursern-laaksossa, ja sitä ympäröivät Oberalpin ja Gotthardin solat. Gemsstockiin vievä Andermatt-köysirata on 100 metrin päässä, ja huoneissa on ilmainen Wi-Fi. Really loved everything about this place. I don’t normally do shared bathrooms when booking hotels etc but this place was immaculate and only two rooms to each bathroom/toilet. Breakfast was lovely. Lady running the place was friendly and helpful. What a pleasant stay- thank you. Loved that there’s safe storage for our bikes too (cycle holiday).

A historic guesthouse dating from the early 18th century, Gasthaus zum Turm is next to the medieval tower in the village of Hospental. It features a sun terrace overlooking the Alps. Wonderful spot. Will be back fo sure.
