The house itself is very luxurious for a hostel and definitely worth the money (compared to other hostels and hotels in Switzerland). Backpackers Luzern offers accommodation in a quiet area on the shores of Lake Lucerne. There is a shared kitchen and a common lounge area with a tabletop football table at the property. This was my first European visit. This was my first hostel. Wow, I never need a hotel again. The room could not be more, Clean & and sheets, professionally cleaned & pressed I was greeted as I walked in. I was offed a towel, as it was raining. The courtesy was genuine & sincere.

The staff were amazing and helpful. Love the breakfast. The common areas were clean and well managed. This was my first hostel experience and it surpassed my expectations. There are lockers available to store your luggage. I look forward to visiting again
