Landing Pads Brunswick in Melbourne provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. I loved this hostel. I personally think it was one of the best I have been. The staff was superb. Starting at check-in when Virgine showed me around nicely. Also the other staff (Redd and Ezra) are amazing people who make you feel welcome the moment you enter the hostel. Moreover, the living room and the backyard is a big hangout spot to meet new crowds and build friendships, with for me as a solo traveler is one of the most important things. I enjoyed the stay so much that I extended twice. Thank you so much!

Situated just one street away from the Great Ocean Road, this environmentally-friendly hostel features a rooftop terrace, 2 self-catering communal kitchens, BBQ facilities and an organic herb garden. Really nice bathrooms and TV room, loved the koala that was staying in a nearby tree

Friendly atmosphere! All facilities were in really good working order. Staff very friendly and helpful too!

Set in Port Fairy, 350 metres from Port Fairy Beach, Port Fairy YHA offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a garden and barbecue facilities. It was SO cute! the style of the hostel was so different to any other place we’ve stayed. It had a homely, vintage, cosy vibe! We had such a comfortable sleep here, it’s a shame we only had one night. I loved our cute bedroom and special touches - hot water bottle, extra blanket, towels without asking or a deposit etc. The kitchen was clean and tidy with good facilities! Fairy lights in the evening to make it look magical. Would recommend this place to anybody visiting the area or stopping off during their great ocean road trip. Jess was helpful and gave us some advice on where to go and what to see!

Situated in Bright, Alpine Sports Lodge has a garden, shared lounge, BBQ facilities, and free WiFi. The hostel features family rooms. Was perfect for a good nights sleep prior to completing the Buffalo trail run. Comfy beds, decent facilities, very low key kind of accommodation which was exactly what we were after.

Situated in Anglesea, 1.1 km from Anglesea Beach, Anglesea Backpackers features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Very friendly owner. Cozy atmosphere. Everything was so quiet and relaxing. Take a walk to the gulf club, maybe you can watch there the kangaroos .

The Mansion Melbourne (formerly Home at the Mansion) was refurbished in 2019 and offers a fusion of chilled vibes, heritage charm, stylish spaces and hotel staff at your service. It was my first dorm experience and it was awesome! Rose was the one who attended to me throughout the stay. She was really patient and helpful 🫶 Everyone is easygoing and friendly. Facilities are clean and fully-equipped. Location is really convenient at Parliament station - You can travel within the free tram zone around the city, or take the train and it's few min walk from Parliament station. Thanks Mansion!
