Starting at check-in when Virgine showed me around nicely. Also the other staff (Redd and Ezra) are amazing people who make you feel welcome the moment you enter the hostel. Moreover, the living room and the backyard is a big hangout spot to meet new crowds and build friendships, with for me as a solo traveler is one of the most important things. I enjoyed the stay so much that I extended twice. Thank you so much!

Situated just 300 metres from the City Centre, Bendigo Backpackers offers a guest lounge area, a large shared kitchen, and a separate dining room. Guests at this vibrant hostel can enjoy free WiFi. so close to the city and really clean.

Situated just one street away from the Great Ocean Road, this environmentally-friendly hostel features a rooftop terrace, 2 self-catering communal kitchens, BBQ facilities and an organic herb garden. This place is one for the books! We enjoyed our overall stay here. We celebrated our Christmas eve with our friends here. The place is clean and they have everything you need in their kitchen. It was indeed a home away from home. Would love to be back in this place.

Space Hotel features a rooftop terrace, fully equipped fitness centre and a private cinema room. Some rooms have a private bathroom, and flat-screen TV. Really nice service at reception!

Set in Port Fairy, 350 metres from Port Fairy Beach, Port Fairy YHA offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a garden and barbecue facilities. It was SO cute! the style of the hostel was so different to any other place we’ve stayed. It had a homely, vintage, cosy vibe! We had such a comfortable sleep here, it’s a shame we only had one night. I loved our cute bedroom and special touches - hot water bottle, extra blanket, towels without asking or a deposit etc. The kitchen was clean and tidy with good facilities! Fairy lights in the evening to make it look magical. Would recommend this place to anybody visiting the area or stopping off during their great ocean road trip. Jess was helpful and gave us some advice on where to go and what to see!

The Mansion Melbourne (formerly Home at the Mansion) was refurbished in 2019 and offers a fusion of chilled vibes, heritage charm, stylish spaces and hotel staff at your service. It was my first dorm experience and it was awesome! Rose was the one who attended to me throughout the stay. She was really patient and helpful 🫶 Everyone is easygoing and friendly. Facilities are clean and fully-equipped. Location is really convenient at Parliament station - You can travel within the free tram zone around the city, or take the train and it's few min walk from Parliament station. Thanks Mansion!
