Everything about our stay was excellent…..the staff, the breakfast, the location. Could not have asked for anything better.

Set in Mondsee, 29 km from Messezentrum Exhibition Center, Jugendgästehaus Mondsee offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The Gaestehaus is an excellent address for family looking to stay relatively cheap, the room was clean and spacious enough for 2adults and 2 teens, bedsheets and towels can be provided for extra fees. Breakfast was good. Free parking.

Located directly at Lake Wolfgang, Jugendgästehaus Sankt Gilgen offers free WiFi and free private parking. The Zwölferhorn Cable Car is 400 metres away. This was the best stay I had in all my Europe trip. Staff was extremely courteous and friendly; they agreed to help me check-in late and to check me out early to catch my train. It was refreshing to have my own toilet in my room. Housekeeping staff were friendly and consistent; they kept cleaning the room and emptying baskets all day. Location is perfectly set in front of the lake, and I had beautiful morning and night walks all around Sankt Gilgen in Christmas! I am definitely planning to come back in the summer.

Featuring numerous sports facilities, this hostel in Obertraun enjoys a scenic location between Lake Hallstatt and the Dachstein range. It also has an outdoor pool and a spa area. Super friendly and helpful staff, both it reception and assisting in the breakfast hall. Brilliant location for catching bus to Hallstatt and very convenient access to the cable cars up Dochstein.

Located at the foot of the Dachstein Mountain, Jutel Obertraun is 4 km from Lake Hallstatt. Upon arrival it seemed like there was some confusion in terms of the booking. Regardless of that, they proceeded to check us in.
