Amazing location, lovely staff, new and comfy rooms. So good we even impromptu stayed another night! Really great hostel, would reccommend staying here as a great base to enjoy the area.

Located directly at Lake Wolfgang, Jugendgästehaus Sankt Gilgen offers free WiFi and free private parking. The Zwölferhorn Cable Car is 400 metres away. This was the best stay I had in all my Europe trip. Staff was extremely courteous and friendly; they agreed to help me check-in late and to check me out early to catch my train. It was refreshing to have my own toilet in my room. Housekeeping staff were friendly and consistent; they kept cleaning the room and emptying baskets all day. Location is perfectly set in front of the lake, and I had beautiful morning and night walks all around Sankt Gilgen in Christmas! I am definitely planning to come back in the summer.

Excellent value for money! Tidy room with spacious bathroom, reading chair and comfy bed, desk and TV. Situated a few minutes from the shores of Lake Hallstatt. Delicious buffet breakfast and very accommodating staff.

Located at the foot of the Dachstein Mountain, Jutel Obertraun is 4 km from Lake Hallstatt. location is very, very good, nice place and very good transport by bus
