Super helpful staff, cute kids and kitties come with the property. I love the ambiance of the garden with the pool. The kitchen is nice and looooveed their breakfast. Made a lot of friends here.

What an amazing Homestay! I was originally going to be in Cat Ba for a single night, but extended it to three because of how comfortable this homestay was (one of the best I have experienced in Vietnam so far). It is run by a great family, and they are very good about making you feel comfortable and at-home. The rooms were very spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the space was clean. I would highly recommend that you stay here if you are in the area! I had every question answered about Cat Ba by the first day, and was able to book motorbike rentals and tours through them :)

This was probably the best hostel we’ve stayed in during three months travelling in the region. It’s very new so everything is in perfect condition, but it’s also all very well thought out. Plenty of storage space in the dorms, nice warm reading lights and good thick curtains around the beds to block out light. Bathrooms are great - very clean, with nice, powerful (and hot if you want) showers. The staff are also wonderful. Toby at the front desk is smiley, warm and always happy to help. Pa Pa in the restaurant/bar is such a beautiful soul and made us feel so welcome every time we walked in the room. The rest of the staff whose names I sadly don’t know made our stay that much better - always smiling and making us feel like we were staying in more than “just” a hostel. Thank you Toby, Pa Pa and everyone else in the team for everything you do!

Great hostel. I had my own room which was clean, spacious and very quiet at night. Staff was very friendly and helped with everything like excursions, renting bikes and food recommendations, thank you guys:). All in all a great place to stay at the beautiful Cat Ba island.

The receptionist Vu was absolutely amazing. He helped us organise a boat trip with kayaking and swimming, as well as recommending the nearby beach and a scenic route. We were only there for 2 days and 1 night and had to cut the second day short because of a storm warning. We would not have been able to maximise our time on Cat Ba without Vu! The hostel was also very comfortable, the loveliest staff at the downstairs restaurant, and would definitely recommend their mango smoothie, you will not regret it! There is also a rooftop bar with a great view of the harbour, where locals sometimes set off fireworks.

The host was fantastic!! Great value for money, location is good also. The owner of the hostel made us feel so welcome and answered any questions we had. Fantastic value for the price of the rooms.

I spent three days in this beautiful place surrounded by mountains in the lush green nature! It's remote from city and that's it's previledge! There's great swimming pool and restaurant with good food! Staff was very helpful, they even picked me up from bus stop and dropped me off on day on my departure!! If I come again to Cat Ba I'll stay here for sure!! Thank you for everything!!
