A monastery experience not to be forgotten. The room is nicely renovated, clean, has a reasonable internet connection. Most of all, it is was unbelievably quiet. I was the only guest there, so it was an unique experience to walk the monastery corridors at night. Also, I had to catch up with some work on my computer while here and what usually takes me 6 hours needed here only 3 hours. So it is likely a high productivity working environment as well :)

I also loved that the location felt residential but also like a hostel with several rooms that could accommodate quite a few people. The view was lovely and calming, and the host gave us recommendations for where we could find a meal nearby.

From the airport you can get into Lake Bled and other places. Bus into Ljubljana is about an hour from Jana's. Jana is lovely. Picked us up from the airport for 8 euro. We got upgraded on our second stay to an apartment. There is a burger place about 200 m away for a meal. Great little place for a couple of nights.
