Located on the grounds of Vadstena abbey, this hostel offers a garden and views of lake Vättern. Free WiFi is available. Vadstena Castle is 1 km away.

To be honest, as an accomodation it was pretty average. But the surroundings, not least for a person interested in history. When booking the room, I didn't realise that it was *so* close to the old convent. Nor did I realise it was so close to lake Vättern (just outside the door) and I sorely regretted not bringing my swimsuit. The staff on site was also brilliant.
