I liked everything in the Hostel. The tradition they have with the Free dinner is very nice and the meals are really tasty. The staff is always there to help if needed and the organized group activities are fun. The location is perfect, next to the Cathedral, a few minutes walk to Sao Bento station and close to major tourist attractions.

Everything is extra comfortable and structured, a great vibe to meet other travellers, but in the same time a calm place. Miguel, the owner, is extremely helpful and friendly, also he keeps everything very responsibly. Very clean, all the necessary utilities such as for cooking, an oven and a microwave, very convenient:) My highest recommendations! Also, the prices are nice=)

Arriving to the hostel was very simple, and the arrival/check in directions were very clear. I loved the check in process and appreciated being shown how everything worked. The staff was friendly and welcoming as well. The bed was comfortable, as was the entire room. I didn't attend the scheduled event that evening, but I liked that they were available for travelers. In the morning, I was really impressed with the breakfast that was offered, especially since there were vegan options available as well.

The staff was the best! Very nice and helpful people. The place feels modern, safe and clean. The location is great too, very close to the touristic attractions. Breakfast was very nice, they offered savoury and sweet food (breads, cereals and fruit) plus juice and coffee. All fresh and in a clean kitchen. Thank you very much! I really enjoyed my stay!

The location was easy to find. Very artistic street. Cca 10 minutes walking to a beautiful park! The bartender at the entrance was a real gentleman. Took my luggage to the reception. The building of the hostel is beautiful. The stairs to rooms, the paintings, the decorations <3 Rooms: I loved the way showers and toilets were thought through. Even though I stayed at the female dorm with 6 beds I felt quite a lot of privacy. Overall the whole hostel was not noisy at all. And in the room you get a big locker to store your luggage. Breakfast: Served in the restaurant downstairs, I had to order the day before but there was no problem in getting more food as the portions were on the smaller side (big thumbs up for not wasting food!). Very cozy atmosphere. And very kind staff working there. All were smiling. I admit, would even prefer to stay at this hostel over staying at a hotel. Next time I come to Porto this is definitely my choice Nr. 1 place to stay ^_^

I recently stayed at O’LOPO hostel and it was awesome! I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a long or short term stay in Porto. One of the standout features of O’LOPO hostel is its fantastic atmosphere. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home🫶🏻They were always available to answer any questions I had and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms and common areas were always spotless, and the staff made sure to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout my entire stay. Good showers with hot water and good pressure. The kitchen was a big plus. It has everything you need. I saved money by cooking my own meals. The location was perfect, O’LOPO hostel is conveniently situated within a 10-minute walk of supermarkets, laundry, cafes, and both bus and train stations. This made it incredibly easy for me to explore Porto and its surrounding areas. Additionally, the hostel is located in a quiet area, and I always felt safe even when returning late at night. The only noise you can hear is your neighbors, everything inside the hostel is quite audible.

I enjoyed that this was a restaurant open to the general public so it felt like you were mixing with locals not just backpackers. The staff were really friendly and the wine was cheap!
