My partner and I both absolutely loved brunnerton lodge. It's a lovely small, personal place and we felt at home straight away. Not like one of those modern big hostels without a soul, but a small lodge, warm-hearted people and a beautiful garden. Very close to greymouth and the price was absolutely great!

Great nostalgic feel and exceptional location. More than adequate kitchen. Loved that coffee and kitchen was available at all hours. Easy walk to train station and car rentals.

Highly recommended, very friendly place to stay. Owner's and guests very friendly, we had some very interesting conversations. Nice to sit and relax in the evening with other guests and listen to their travel stories. Room was clean and spacious with a comfy bed. Well equipped shared kitchen and community room's.
