The location was amazing and the views! Our room was very spacious and had amazing views! We were thankful there was dedicated parking and we were able to do a load of laundry during our quick stay. The host was very kind and responsive to my questions. Honestly we loved this guest house and wished we were staying in the area longer! Definitely recommending my to anyone who will be in Hakodate area!

Newly opening on 25 April 2015, Super conveniently located The GUEST HOUSE HAKODATE BAY will offer private and dormitory-style rooms and free WiFi in all areas. Public parking will be available at a daily fee. The guest house is only two minute’s walk from Shiyakushomae Station.

Sukumoto San was a very friendly and informative owner and manager. Very good host. Will surely stay here again the next time. Thank you Sukumoto San for making my stay in Hakodate memorable. Cheers to your sake. The check-in time at 3pm is very good and the door is left open 24 hours. So no need to worry about coming back late. Bath towel is provided FOC which is a plus.

Like a couple of the other "business" hotels I stayed in, predictably functional, clean, comfortable. Pluses -- VERY close to train station, lovely helpful receptionist, excellent cheap breakfast nicely served, overall friendly staff. Excellent value.

The open spaces are amazing, chill and private, the kitchen well equipped and the roof terrace amazing. The location is just perfect - convenient for literally anything you might want to do in Hakodate. Nothing deeply bad, nothing deeply special. If you are ok with finding people sleeping on the sofas at the entrance/lounge when you leave the hotel/hostel in the morning, then it is the place for you. On a positive note, super nearby, going towards the arena, and crossing the road there is a fabulous Izakaya.
