My friend and I had a room with 2 sets of bunk beds, which was great as we could have a bottom bunk each! (Both over 60!) Plenty of crockery etc in the kitchen. Slept well, but then it was a quiet night and a big crowd was expected the next night!

Cosy setting with everything you need for self catering as well as serving breakfast and evening meals for when you don't want to cook. Alcohol available from the bar in the evenings too, felt like a little home away from home. All the staff were super friendly, will definitely stay again if we're in that area.Miss NFamily with young children

Staff was very helpful and nice, food was okay, nice selection of local ales and cider. Beds were as to be expected in a youth hostel but definitely not uncomfortable.

This is a youth hostel, so don't expect 5* rooms and beds, but for the price it is exceptional value for money and the scenery is breathtaking
