Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
The location in Teesdale was beautiful, and our room had a wonderful view of the landscape. We made our own breakfast in the well-equipped communal kitchen and ate in the dining room with the other overnight guests - a very jolly start to our day. The shared toilet and shower facilities were clean and more than adequate for our needs. The hostel manager was very welcoming and helpful, which really added to our experience.
Location was remote with beautiful views but also short drive away from pubs and restaurants which was ideal for us. The hostel was clean, and beds comfy! Staff were also very friendly and helpful.
The most comfortable hostel I have ever been to….the views were amazing and so was the hospitality.

How does it work?
1
It starts with a booking
It starts with a booking
The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
Followed by a trip
Followed by a trip
When guests stay at the property, they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff is, and more.

And finally, a review
And finally, a review
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.
