I visited the Bunkhouse with my wife and a 17 years old daughter after driving a whole day throughout applecross mountain road. The outside surrounding area was very quite and the bedroom was very clean with comfortable mattress. The bathroom was shared with other guests however the cleanliness was beyond expectations. One can also make use of a shared kitchen which was fully equipped.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

It is a clean hostel with a great location in Applecross. It offers a big community kitchen. There is a chance to get some croissants for breakfast. The welcome was very friendly.

Everything was fine. Spotless bathroom and kitchen. Very large bedroom and a very appreciated mirror. You would not believe this is a hostel. It would rather look like a hotel with a shared bathroom and a huge kitchen. If you need a cheap place to stay and you don't bother to share facilities, this is the place to go.

this venue is a hostel not a hotel. However the property is spotlessly clean, attractive, simple and comfortable. A warm welcome and great location, cannot ask more than that. It is an isolated location, just be prepared.

I think this is probably the best hostel I have ever stayed in. Honestly great facilities modern, massive kitchen and the location is just stunning. The value for money is insane for what you get especially if you doing the Scotland 500 this is one the cheaper and better places you can stay.
