Located in Montañita, a few steps from Montañita Beach, Kamala Surf & Backpacker Hostel provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, private parking, a garden and a shared lounge.

They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early. We got to Kamala super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there. My experience at kamala was unforgettable. Every staff member I encountered, from the volunteers to the kitchen staff were delightful and eager to help! Thank you! Will recommend to my friends.

Rooms are super clean and in good condition incl. A/C and hot water. There is an outdoor kitchen with everything you need, a pool table and a pool from where you can watch Iguanas in the trees.

wonderful! very large studio , kitchen , dining/work area , lounge area and bedroom. only 5 mins or so stroll to the beach. amazing views from the balcony and through the large doors Up a small hill so great for views and away from the party town noise but near enough to go and enjoy. Joos is a wonderful host and great at anticipating needs. It was a wonderful place to chill and unwind after lots of busy travelling. I couldn’t recommend more!

I really this little hidden gem. It is a very small hostel, closeby the center, but you don't hear the noise of it at night. The owner is really sweet and wants to make sure you have a wonderfull stay. You can use the kitchen if you want to cook something.
