If you don't want to stay in the city of Latacunga and would rather visit Cotopaxi from a smaller pueblo along the road, this is a great option. The owner is super nice, and helped us book a guide to visit the volcano.

It feels more like an airbnb in the mountains than a hostel. It is very reasonably priced and is close to cotopaxi NP north entrance, along with La ruta de la cascadas. Aracely is really lovely and accomodating. The hostel and room are simple but comfortable and very clean. It has a really cool roof terrace with a view over the mountains!
