A few minutes by boat from Puerto Narino (always facilitated by the hosts at their expense), with a swimming pool and possibility to have lunch and dinner in the hostel’s restaurant. We stayed at a cabin, which was private and comfortable. The hosts were kind and flexible always ready to help. Great tours with local guides.

There are no roads or cars, so this is a pleasant intersection where people pass and greet each other. The views from the hotel are superb, with palms all around, the forest in the distance. A distinctly village feel. Safe to walk around at night. A few bars are open around the corner. The music can be heard faintly in the distance, though it's not intrusive. There is a magic to Puerto Narino. My room was large and clean. Staff very friendly. What's not to like.

The rooms are comfortable and dreamy, the breakfast is delicious and clearly made with love, and the staff/family is the most caring, loving and hardworking ever. The owners were amazing so friendly and were willing to help us in any way they could (despite us being terrible at Spanish!).
