The location in incredible just 5 min walk from the park. Ralph (owner) was super helpful with tickets, navigation and logistics and yes, propably he is the best English-speaker in the area among locals. The room was cosy, bed is big, bath was good. Definetely recommended!

Where to start? The decor was cool and traditional, it’s in a perfect location- close to some places to eat and buy snacks and such, but a quiet place to have peace. Walking distance to the park, the bus station, and anything you need. The breakfast was absolutely delicious- they know I loved it so much hahaha! They upgraded my room to a private room since it was low season and no one else was in the hostel. The private room had a heater which was soooo nice, the bathroom was great and the bed was so comfortable. Most of all, I loved the staff. The owner and Emer, the woman currently working there, made me feel at home. They were so generous with me. From deep conversations, eating together, having tea together, laughing together, hiking together, buying snacks together, every moment felt natural and bliss and I leave knowing this was the best part of my trip in China. Emer helped me plan my whole week and book my tickets for the week as well as my future trains! I couldn’t have asked for a better week in Zhangjiajie, and I will miss them dearly. If you can, get a custom piece of traditional writing from the owner! I did, and I can’t wait to display it in my home. Thank you for everything!!! No words can express my gratitude!

Very warm hostel! The boss is very professional, help me arrange the itinerary and tell me how to take the bus! Thank you very much. The store also has a good feeling, will arrange Chinese dinner for us, it is very delicious! The room is clean, too.

Amazing hospitality and hosts - cozy room. If you are out late (past midnight) you need to let the hosts know to let you back in but they are very accommodating
