Attractively located in the centre of Shanghai, WeFlow Hostel (Shanghai Xintiandi) features air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge and free WiFi. The accommodation offers room service, a 24-hour front desk and organising tours for guests.

Location was great(in the city centre). Staff was very friendly . Bathroom was nicely organised, very clean and well-planned in terms of noise, and lobby was pretty comfy to sit in in the evening. I stayed in the 4-bed room, and it really exceeded my expectations - it was basically a capsule hotel rather than a dorm room. Pretty good isolation, small shade completely blocking any light, and each capsule has own electric socket, lamp and a small locked storage space.

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

I had an amazing stay at Dayin! The hostel was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. But what really made my stay stand out was the incredible staff, particularly Roya, who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and supported. Her kindness, knowledge, and enthusiasm made all the difference. The hostel's atmosphere was also great, with a cozy common area and an open bar that made it easy to meet new people. Highly recommended!

Good looking location but very disappointed with the facilities of the motel. It's actually a youth hostel not hotel.

This is the best hostel that I have ever experienced in China! With quite a low cost you can get a good living condition in the big city Shanghai. I arrived at night and the court impressed me a lot, it was beautiful and people were relaxed in the court, the room was warm and well-I had a good sleep. the staff there were so friendly and helpful too me. Will get back here when I go to Shanghai again next time.

Great location with Lawson and 7-11 nearby, around 10 mins walk to the bund, and 5 mins walk to subway. The room is spacious and clean. The view from our room is great. Surrounding areas are safe with local restaurants along the street.

Nice and helpful staff, clean rooms with reliable housekeeping. New fit outs and good lighting options in the rooms. Just be aware, the rooms are small, in line with the low prices. Think Hongkong size budget hotel size (but better set out). If you get there and they're not busy see if you can choose your room as the layouts differ. No. 76 bus is around the corner and goes to JingAn Temple for 2 yuan. Small cheap local restaurants nearby and some foreign catering places in local streets.

Great location close to a lot of malls, shops, restaurants and the Jing’an Temple within walking distance. The hotel itself is fairly big with plenty of food options inside. The staff is really friendly and speaks good English. The rooms are very quiet and large. The bed is comfortable. I was able to sleep without problems and without hearing any noise from neither the street nor other guests, which is great. The area is really safe.

Great location so easy and close to the Bund and the staff were helpful and obliging. Also, it was very reasonably priced aka cheap and you get what you pay for so don’t expect luxury.

Close to the metro so you can get to the centre in under half an hour and rooms are cheap for Shanghai. Free laundry facilities. The rooms and hostel in general were well designed (eg bed with curtains, good sized locker). Essentially, it has great potential but it’s just not currently a great place to stay as a solo traveler
