Located in Yuzhong District, 弱水咖啡国际青旅Only Cafe and Backpacker sits on top of a 31-floor building and offers great views of the city, river and mountains from an on-site café. It is just about 2 minutes' walk from Jiaochangkou Metro Station and around 5 minutes' walk from People's Liberation Monument. Guests can receive a cup of freshly grounded coffee upon check-in.

Everything a Hostel needs and in a wonderful location. There is plenty of common space to relax and meet people, have a coffee or a beer. It’s also a wonderful place to stay for some days if you are tired of being on the road. The dorms are comfy and have everything you expect (lockers, individual light, sockets etc.). The bathrooms are well equipped and even toiletries are provided in case you forgot something. There is a big well equipped kitchen (dishes, fridge, microwave, purified water etc.) and an incredible plant covered rooftop terrace with stunning 270degree city views, a great place to enjoy the sunset. The owners are a rich source of local knowledge including sightseeing and restaurant advice and their warmth and friendliness and the fact that you get one of the best coffees in China if you are luck is just the cherry on top!

Everything. The staff, Lotti together with the other girls at the receptions, have been outstandingly kind and helpful - managing to arrange a tour for me with few hours notice. The location is unbeatable, the room clean and stylish, the vibe is great as in the whole Chongqing. No better place in town, trust me.

Hostel‘s environment is better than what I’ve expected. Everything is so organised. Love the beds with lots of privacy and spaces to put our luggage. The owner are super friendly and always welcome to ask them questions and suggestions. They even collected my parcels for me because I didn’t planned the delivery well so I had to trouble them. Alot of nice good around and near to tourist spots. Definitely be back again. Owner and guests are truly angels as owner will send out reminders to keep noise level low at night and guest are also very considerate. Many places in China do not accept oversea guest but this hostel made it so easy for the travel. I love the common space area with tables to chill or have your meal.

The location is exceptional, really close to Zengjiayan Interchange (5 mins walk down the street) and major tourist destinations. Great bargain for the price. You still get a fully serviced room and a full length bed, if small. Cheap bottled drinks from the hotel reception, which is very convenient. We booked a room with Garden View as having a window is important to us, but not all rooms have windows.

The staff are amazing. They are friendly and would go above and beyond, especially Amanda who made our stay memorable. The bed is comfy. You can pay for communal dinner/lunch which we strongly recommend (you can try the local dishes and mingle with other travellers). If you are a cat lover, perfect! This hostel has 4 cute cats, guitars and piano for entertainment. We love the terrace and great value for money. Will definitely stay here if we go back to Chongqing.

Nice, budget-friendly option in the heart of Chongqing. The hotel is a short (5 min) walk from Zengjiayan Station and 15mins via public transportation to most major attractions. If you want to take a break from climbing stairs, you’ll be a fan of the hotel’s location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable with clean sheets and basic toiletries provided.
