This time, I was in basement and it has a welcoming atmosphere down there that didn't expect. Was glad event went over for was right across street. Beds are comfy and washrooms bright and clean. It's a bit like a hybrid hostel/ hotel experience so great for families/ couples or singles travelling alone wanting to meet new friends. Great location, friendly staff, and commons room for making your meals is something we are seeing more of in new or renovated hotels like this. Think Fernie Fox, or Dorothy motel in Banff.

Everywhere is spotlessly clean. We stayed in the shared dorm, which was very clean and we loved the little seating area outside.
