We are a youth hostel, a destination for travellers between the ages of 18 and 45 years old. As this is a destination for international guests and Australian travellers interstate we do not accept anyone from the Newcastle area. Please ensure you have valid photo identification for your check in.

The hostel was one of the cleanest hostels I have stayed in in Australia. The staff are super friendly and nothing is too much of a hassle. Really comfy bedrooms and the kitchen and bathrooms were always clean

This hostel boasts a terrace with BBQ facilities, a large shared kitchen and a games room with table tennis and a billiards table. Guests have free use of surfboards and bodyboards. The hostel also offers a tour desk and laundry facilities.
Both dormitory rooms and private rooms are available. All offer access to shared bathroom facilities. Each room has a fan, and includes bed linen.

The hostel was one of the best I've ever stayed in. It offered everything you could possibly imagine, including rental bikes, scooters, surfboards, bodyboards etc. The staff was also absolutely friendly.

Staff are friendly and patient. A big bonus is the hostel loans surfboards and bicycles free of charge. The beach is a few minutes walk from the hostel. The town also has an ALDI supermarket. Those are always great for helping keep within a budget. I wish I had time to go back there again on this trip.
