The food was great value! The vibe around the place was very relaxed and the staff were able to accommodate our needs for a fee e.g. laundry after a week of cycling. Very comfortable rooms. We were reluctant to stay in the nearby campsites due to negative reviews. That left us with very few options. This was the next cheapest place and ee experienced no negativity here what so ever.

Located at the foot of the Dachstein Mountain, Jutel Obertraun is 4 km from Lake Hallstatt. A ski bus stops in front of the property and provides good connections to the ski areas Dachstein West and Gosau-Rußbach-Annaberg. Free WiFi is available throughout the property.

The rooms were quite small as mentioned in the description but they were cozy and had the basics in place. the location is very scenic. Overall a good budget option for stay near Halstatt.
