Located in Zhunan, 50 km from Tai'an Hot Spring, 竹南橘子民宿 provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. A cozy, comfortable and clean room in a great location. The hosts were very accommodating, helping us park our bicycles and they even gave us some strawberries.

A recently renovated guest house in Miaoli and with Tai'an Hot Spring reachable within 31 km, 小仙肉包棟民宿 features a garden, rooms, free WiFi and a terrace. Communication was prompt and checkin instructions were clear, including directions for parking (bonus for those who are driving). Although within an old building, the rooms and toilet are modern and comfortable enough. The owner put alot of thought into the decorations and it is tasteful and photo worthy. We stayed as a couple and had the whole house to ourselves, but would be ideal for larger groups too. There are some board games provided for entertainment. For international travellers, do note that you are unable to pay the deposit so please communicate with the owner to prevent any misunderstandings. Appreciate the owner for honouring our reservation and allowing us to pay on the day of our stay.
