Casa Blanca Tu Casa offers accommodation in Santa Ana just 30 metres from the Madre Church of El Salvador. All rooms have a TV and private bathroom fitted with a shower. Wow, the host was amazing! She was so easy-going, friendly and spoke perfect English. Firstly, we were offered to relocate to another hostel which was closer to the city (due to overbooking at original property), however this was clearly a better option, so we didn't reject it. The host drove us to the new hostel and gave plenty of suggestions on what to see and where to eat. She offered to rent a moped/motorcycle (very cheap) for us to travel to Santa Ana volcano and that was an amazing experience! Breakfast was included which was cooked by co-host in front of us - local eggs with beans. The beds were very comfortable and the room was pretty and new.

Location is on the edge of central area, giving perfect access without the immediate area being too noisy. A lovely cooked breakfast is available for $2.

It very close to many different restaurants (amazing pupusas!!), a natural spring pool is just a 5 minute walk away, and the main town square is a 15 minute walk. The neighborhood felt safe and the hostel owner (Nelson) is a super cool chill dude. He does a free walking tour which I highly recommend to get acquainted with the area. He also has the cutest dog named Bush! It was such a treat getting to know them while staying at the hostel. The hostel kitchen is also well equipped and I also loved that you are able to do your own laundry here in the washing machine. I would definitely recommend this place!

Hostal Sole is situated in Santa Ana. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi is available. At the guest house, rooms come with a patio. This possibly the nicest hostel we have stayed at during our 10 month trip so far (7 months in). With the most comfortable beds, air con, a fantastic breakfast and nicest staff, especially valeri who was around all times to help... would highly recommend this place.
