The hotel owners were very thoughtful and helpful. The ground floor is a large and comfortable lounge with coffee and tea, tables and sofas, charging points at each table, and floor to ceiling windows with a beautiful view of Sagada and the mountains. The rooms are clean and comfortable with extra shelf space for unpacking. The hotel is at the bottom end of the town, about 10 minutes walk down the hill from the tourist agency. There are several good restaurants nearby, including Cucina Igorrote, the Hub Café, and the Lemon Pie. There is also a bakery next-door, serving different kinds of bread.

Rooms are very small and come with the traditional tiny bathroom but absolutely perfect for those travelling on a budget. Breakfast was lovely and tuk-tuks into town were readily available and affordable. The location was further out than we realised, but it wasn’t a problem to grab a tuk-tuk and we found some good local restaurants nearby.

Property is in amazing place - you can face the main Batad’s rice terrasses from Rita’s Inn place. But the main thing - that after spending 2nights there - you start to feel like at home. Germina ( Rita’s daughter) who is actually running the place - is making fantastic home made food, arraning guides, massages. So my suggestion - go there for 2 or 3 nights, enjoy the place , take the tours with a guides and enjoy massage in the evening. Everything with affordable price and you get not just a service , but a community and family feeling. And talk with Germina’s father Romeo - He is the star of Lonely Planet book and really amazing old man (Happiest man on earth that I have met). Go to this place and you will not be dissapointed, but only really loved!
