The location is perfect. The house is very cozy and good value for money. The family, that runs that business couldn't be more helpful and nice. Paola, Pilar and the rest of the family made us feel like at home. Every breakfast was amazing and we couldn't ask for better start of the day. We don't speak Spanish but this wasn't a problem when speaking with the hosts. Originally we booked two nights and end up spending six. It was hard to leave. We will definitely recomend this property to anyone who wants to feel like at home away from home. :)

Die Unterkunft Casa Salkantay Cusco, die in Cusco, 3,1 km von Bahnhof Wanchaq entfernt gelegen ist, verfügt über Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einer Gemeinschaftslounge, Privatparkplätzen und einer... I felt blessed to have landed in this lovely home! Zuzan was there to welcome me when I arrived and when I was feeling sick from the altitude she made me tea and soup and brought it to my room. She even checked on me multiple times to see how I was feeling. She was happy to chat and give me recommendations for Cusco and the valley and I felt she truly cared to know how my trip went even after I left Cusco. I was happy with the breakfast, the private room and bathroom for the price, and the quiet sunny rooftop in the mornings. The place is a 20 min walk to the center and I would taxi back at night. If you want a homey experience, especially if you’re alone and need a bit of caretaking, I highly recommend!!!

The shower hot water is good pressure. The internet is fast speed. The place is minutes on foot from the Plaza Mayor. Host is friendly and helpful. He helped organized a very comfortable car to Cusco.

She was so helpful, kind, and genuine. She gave us advice, helped us with rides and dinners, and made us feel at home. Our room was small but clean and arranged well. we had terrific views of both ruins

Rooms aren't modern but they are very clean and bed is comfortable. Courtyard is a great space to relax. Breakfast is tasty, eggs, juice, bread, GOOD coffee. But above all the hosts are wonderful! Super kind, hospitable, friendly people. Loved our stay here.
