I had a beautiful room with an outdoor shower which I loved. The garden is a real oasis with interesting wildlife to spot and it was really relaxing to spend some time by the pool before walking down to the beach. The garden here is really special and the architecture of the building is beautiful. The staff were super attentive.

This hotel is just beautiful - clean as can be, simple and elegant decor, lovely historic building, cute courtyard. The staff are friendly though they did ask if we were enjoying our stay about eight thousand times which was very sweet but did get a bit wearing. The price is unbelievable for this location and how nice a place it was - at least, at the time of this writing, our room was only 33 USD a night which is jaw-droppingly cheap considering what a lovely hotel and great location! In the middle of the fort, Spa Ceylon is just down the road (everything is just down the road, basically!) The air conditioning was crisp and cold. The welcome drink was a nice touch. The bathroom was very pretty though you're standing next to the toilet when you shower as it's a very small space, but I understand that because it is an historic building. Our room even had a tiny balcony which was a lovely touch. You can tell a lot of thought went into cleaning and restoring this building. Overall, I'd highly recommend staying here!

We enjoyed a lot this place. Booked 3 nights there but decided to stay for 2 more. Wonderful place with very beautiful and clean seashore just several meters from the hotel. Waves are high at that time of the year. We liked that it was a couple of km from Hikkaduwa, away from crowds of people, a place to relax and to have a quiet stay. At the same time there was a shop 2 minutes walk and a place to eat, and the Turtle beach, where there were no waves and it's possible to swim, was at 20 minutes walk (many people there). Room was tidy with beautiful and was cleaned every day! Swimming pool was also very clean. Staff is very hospitable and attentive to the needs, always was eager to help and answer lots of questions:) Tasty breakfast. There was an access to drinking water 24/7

Nastanitev Alvas house se nahaja ob obali v Hikkaduwa, le nekaj korakov od znamenitosti Plaža Narigama, in ponuja vrt ter teraso. Susanna and Tusharo (please excuse me if I’m misspelling the names :) were wonderful hosts. Welcoming and informative. It really felt like our own house. Spotless clean, equipped with everything a traveler needs, beautiful nature around, a garden well kept. Another great thing is the hosts really care about animals and Tusharo shared fascinating information about the connection local people share with the sea turtles (we got lucky and swam with them). The beach has some great surf. Would love to come back and stay more.

Great place to chill out, secure, clean and away from the main town but only a short walk to the beach, main bus and train station. Good pool and balcony to sit out. Perfect.

Nastanitev Deltora Villa - free drop off to Galle Fort by TukTuk na fantastični lokaciji v Galleju nudi sobe s klimatsko napravo in z brezplačnim WiFi, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče ter sobno... We loved our stay here so much that we booked again for our return to Colombo stay. The staff were so lovely and enthusiastic and helpful. The villa is gorgeous, so small and intimate. Only 4 rooms so we basically had it to ourselves as it was nearing the end of season in late April. We had a free tuk tuk ride to Galle Fort and this way we met a wonderful driver who ended up being a large part of our travels and a friend for life ! We caught the train from Colombo Fort to Galle and the villa is only a 5 minute tuk tuk ride. . Highly recommend 👌 👍 👏
