Det familjeägda Vogafjos Guesthouse omges av unik natur på östra stranden av sjön Myvatn. Här finns rum med uteplats och gratis Wi-Fi. The farm was such a treat. The family runs the hotel, farm. and the restaurant. The hot pots were great for soaking, and a view of the farm animals and the older historic farm house. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with art work made by a great aunt of the family. It had an inviting atmosphere, and delicious food made by the family, all farm to table. A place I would love to stay again!

Birkilauf i Myvatn ligger inom 2,6 km från Myvatns naturbad och har ett antal bekvämligheter, inklusive utsikt över sjön och bergen. Our host was wonderful, very knowledgeable of the area with lots of tips. We arrived to a wonderful surprise of homemade bread and food in the kitchen for breakfast. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The patio has a great view of the sunset which was wonderful after a long day. If I travel to Myvatn again, I know where I will be staying :)

Location, cleanliness, the food ( amazing!), the amenities ( including the hot tubs!!) and the locals who were welcoming and warm!

Excellent well-stocked kitchen with at least 2 of everything (oven/stove, sinks, workspaces, cutting boards etc) and plenty of room for. many people to comfortable cook at the same time. Beautiful, big glass dining room looking out over lava rocks. Very welcoming staff. Clear posted rules so the place runs efficiently and well but no micromanaging staff. Also a place in the fridge and shelves outside it for extra food you can leave behind for someone else if you are traveling the next day and can't carry it with you. Very nice private showers!
