The family-run Vogafjos Guesthouse is set in a unique natural environment on the eastern shore of Lake Myvatn. It offers rooms with a patio and free Wi-Fi. The room was so cozy and comfy! I live in Iceland and will definitely be returning and now I recommend this to every travel I made itineraries for :) Also we saw amazing northern lights!

Located within 2.6 km of Myvatn Nature Baths, Birkilauf in Myvatn has a number of amenities, including lake and mountain views. Great location and great welcome by the owner. Fully equipped kitchen and a lot of ingredients (coffee, tea, milk, eggs, oil, etc) made available by the owner to cook meals and breakfast, he welcomed us even with home-made bread. Highly recommend.

Situated within 30 km of Godafoss Waterfall and 37 km of Husavik Golf Club in Granastaðir, Granastaðir Guesthouse features accommodation with seating area. Amazing property and the owner is super nice! We loved waking up to the tranquil sound of the waterfall and sheep on the mountain in the morning.

Eldá Guesthouse is located in Reykjahlíð, just a few minutes on foot from Lake Myvatn. There is a golf course 750 metres from the property. Each room includes a work desk, a wash basin and free WiFi. Very clean, great shared kitchen, bedroom large and comfortable. The staff is amazing especially Monika who helped me pay a parking fine. She went above and beyond being helpful. A really lovely person that helped me and made my stay so nice.

Situated by Lake Mývatn, this guest house offers basic rooms with shared facilities. The Mývatn Nature Baths is a 10-minute drive away. I was directly surprised by the change. I was here five years ago and the equipment was bad. The renovation is great. Clean rooms, large kitchen and common room. Close to Pizza and restaurants with a farm. Very nice stafs.

Set on a farm next to Lake Mývatn, this guest house offers self-catering rooms and cottages with free WiFi and nature views. The geothermally heated Mývatn Nature Baths are a 10-minute drive away. This accommodation is a real Aurora restaurant. I watched the Aurora in front of the accommodation for two days without stopping~^^ The heating was good and it was warm. It's in front of Lake Myvatn, so the view is good. If you open the window at the back, you can see the Volcano's Caldera. I stayed there for 2 days, and the old man at the reception was very friendly. ^^ The two dogs were very friendly.. had a comfortable stay. Next time I visit, I want to stay here again.

Quietly located 5 km from Iceland's Ring Road and 13 km from Lake Mývatn, this family-run guest house offers views over Sandfell Mountain. Lived everything about this place. Location, cleanliness, the food ( amazing!), the amenities ( including the hot tubs!!) and the locals who were welcoming and warm!

Vogahraun 4, a property with a garden, is located in Myvatn, 5.8 km from Myvatn Nature Baths. it’s a camping but ! one of the best places I have stayed in Iceland extremely clean absolutely calm perfect location you can get an incredible breakfast in a nearest farm guest that’s twice more expensive to stay but you can go there for food definitely recommended

Offering rooms and cottages, Hlíd Hostel is 500 metres from Lake Mývatn, in Reykjahlíd. WiFi and parking are free. Facilities include a BBQ area, terrace and shared kitchen. the location is great and given the very limited options in the area this is a great choice. we stayed in the shared room with 4 beds and I was superafraid how it will go but went very well. the room was clean and the common kitchen area was spacios and well equiped. we spent most of the time there. the check in and check out was very efficient
