Check-in and check-out was super easy. Communication with our really friendly host always quick and helpful. The apartment is cute and has all you need for two: Well-stocked kitchenette, super clean and modern bathroom, a giant TV (even though we never switched it on), and the place has its own private hot tub in the backyard! The location is perfect as it's just around the corner from Selfoss' central roundabout, so you'll find it easily and have a great base for exploring Iceland's beautiful southside. Also, you can drive to Reykjavík in just about one hour.

Urridafoss Waterfall is 11 km away.... This off-the-beaten-path, quaint and quiet accommodation was perfect for our 2 night stay. Plenty of cozy corners and shared kitchen space, beds were comfortable and room and bathroom was immaculately clean. Plenty of outdoor space to run around in and overall a great experience.

Johann is a great host, so helpful, attentive, and friendly. He gave us travel advice and maps, got along great with our non-english speaking children. The house is so interestingly decorated and the jacuzzi was wonderful. Everything was clean and attention to details was great. The breakfast was varied and tasty.

Perfect place for chill after long day of hiking. Beautiful big house with large social place: living room + kitchen. Hot tub in a rain - wonderful experience!

Cosy cottage-Golden circle is located in Kerhraun. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. The guest house has a garden and provides a children's playground. Amazing location, in the middle of the Golden Circle! And more so after our longer day trips to Snæfellsnes and Vatnajökull, it was very nice coming home to such a comforable, little cabin. I'll miss the evenings in the hot tub the most, with just the sounds of the birds in the background and nothing else. The amenities were more than complete for us. For comparison, we are used to our own small camper trailer. So having an Illy coffee machine, hair dryer and such were a nice surprise. Vilhjalmur sent us clear and helpfull information about the route to the cabin, instructions about wifi and the hot tub in advance and checked in on us during our stay.

This former schoolhouse turned guesthouse is 13 km south of Selfoss and the Ring Road. It offers a communal kitchen and free WiFi. We enjoyed a fantastic stay at the old school house! Greg and Magnea are very kind and welcoming. This booking is not just a place to sleep but an experience that I would recommend 10/10! The rooms are incredibly cozy and quiet with comfortable beds, the communal areas are super clean and the location is just very special. The surroundings are stunning, you can watch the stars at night from the hottub outside and if you’re there at the right time - catch aurora! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Featuring a garden, Reykjadalur Guesthouse is set in Hveragerði. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. One of the most comfortable bed in Iceland. The place is super clean. Great shower + bathroom including all the towels needed it. The room comes with TV and coffee/tea for the cold weather. I was quite impressed about how comfortable was the bed. Easy access and communication with passwords to enter and get the key.
