Me with ma wife stayed here for 2 nights. I would say such a fantastic host. Mr & Mrs Shylock (we called them uncle and aunty) took care of all our needs. They were the perfect host. I have visited Ooty N number of times and this was best ever stay. Such a fantastic view from the balcony...very nice room..perfect location... everything easily accessible, hardly 5 to 10 mins to Lake and garden..please visit moddy's chocolate buy whatever possible from there as parcel, then come back to the property; enjoy ur food with nice view from the balcony...which is beyond words. Uncle and Aunty as mentioned above and to add on make us feel like that we we stay in our own home..Very kindhearted and always helping ppl..both of them. Night view is awesome from the balcony and almost all the restaurants provide home delivery here in 30 mins is an add on as if you want u can choose those and enjoy dinner at the stay.. Fantastic place...

Located within 1.7 km of Auroville Beach and 8.1 km of Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Gaia's Garden Guest House provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Auroville. The gardens and peaceful surroundings. Very clean and well looked after place. We wanted to stay longer! Will be back for sure

The listing has 11 rooms of which 4 of the rooms are in one building and 7 in another building. The area is lovely, more like staying in a village than a city, 20 odd mins from the airport. We found the locals there friendly and helpful too, Also very near by are shops & cafes, approximately a 2 min walk. The hosts Sam and Latha were fabulous! Helped make our stay a memorable one for sure, taking care of our every need when we needed, helping us with obtaining sim cards! (hard to get in Chennai for foreigners) also booking the train for our onward journey, arranging taxis for around chennai whenever we needed, food delivery, currency exchange, (very good rates) Our room was comfy and quiet, the Homestay is situated in a no through road. If you are flying in from another country and you do book a stay there, my advice is to let Sam & Latha to pre arrange a car pick up as there is no option for foreigners to purchase sim cards at the airport, So you'll have no internet use for using uber cabs etc) so you may (like us) be victims of a fleecing taxi cab guy that operate at the airport, We ended up paying 3 times the going rate. Just arrange things beforehand with Sam & Latha they'll sort things out...I can only give glowing Praise to these 2 people.😍

Set just 12 km from St. Thomas Mount, Iris Comfort Inn offers accommodation in Chennai with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as luggage storage space. Lovely people, really enjoyed our stay. Room was spacious and clean and the staff were lovely. And the beds were so comfy! We booked very last minute and everything was perfectly in order.

I booked the stay at Sunvalley for my parents who are both senior citizens. From the very beginning the staff were so friendly and helpful that my friends felt right at home. Going out of their way to ensure that guests feel comfortable is something that comes naturally to the staff at the hotel. Special mention to Mr. Raghav, who personally looked in to the well-being of my parents.

Offering a shared lounge and river view, Maha Periyava Kuteeram is located in Kumbakonam, 8.1 km from Kasi Viswanathar Temple and 8.5 km from Mahamaham Tank. This is a really beautiful place, both culturally and spiritually. You appreciate it the longer you stay at this residency. People have such pure and nice souls. Really, the house owner is not my blood, but he treats me like my own sister. I went this Friday and Saturday, May 3, 2024, to May 4, 2024. He helped me until the end of my trip. I felt it was like my own house. In this world, it is very rare to meet people like this. 101 % of the time, I can recommend those who are staying in that residency. Unique house, mix-and-match colour wall, vastu criteria house. Full of positive vibes and a smiling face, Amma has such good manners—there are really no words to describe. Don’t miss it! Those who want to go to temples there are famous and energetic temples to visit.
