The kitchen downstairs is massive and is the most equipped I've ever seen. The staff here are so kind and friendly that they go out of their way to help you. It's very peaceful and silent at night. The few dogs around rarely bark, and not for more than a minute or two during the day, so a perfect place to relax or work online.

Loved our host, very sweet people and didn't mind me using Google translate to communicate better. He even took us to a few places most visitors probably don't think about. They prepared us dinner one night which was great! The house is super cute and clean, love the view to the lake. The town is safe to walk I'm at night. Make sure to go to Bambu Grill. Great place to eat.

Hotel El Andariego was the perfect place to stay in Otavalo, located in the heart of the city makes it great to reach easly all parts of the city. was beautifuly decorated with the tipical fabrics and style of Otavalo, very clean, great and kind staff helping in everything they can. it was just great! we loved it so much that came back after we went to Ibarra to stay a couple more days in El Andariego :). Their Restaurant Fuya! it is just amazing food. for a great ambient and price! was actualy our favorite Restaurant in Otavalo. we can just say, if you go to Otavalo, you should go to El Andariego.
