I came with my sister while backpacking Vietnam, and it was a big highlight of the trip! The host, Mis Co is a very lovely, charming, friendly lady who went out of her way to make us feel at home! The room is basic but this is a real homestay in a real family's home so it was absolutely enough for us, we were happy to get an authentic experience and make a lovely connection! We arranged the day we got there to do a day hike around the area and this was just stunning, one of the best things I've ever done in my life, I can't recommend this enough. I also asked to do a traditional Hmong embroidery class and so we spent a chill rainy day doing this with Mis Co and she dressed us in her traditional clothing that she had made herself as well. We wish we could've stayed longer!!

The breakfast is free and good, various choices for us to choose from. The homestay is just 700m away from the church, quite centrally located. We ate most of our meals at the restaurant, fresh & well served. The hopot is highly recommended. Amazing view is a plus.
