The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. They live in the same house, so it's more a private room than a bnb. They provide coffee/tea/cocoa, a fridge for your use as well as an airport shuttle for early flight departures. Can recommend! :)

Very nice hosts who made everything to make you feel confortable. The hot tub is a great experience to end your holiday in Iceland. Will definitely come back!

It was the perfect choice for our group as we arrived late. The place is well equipped with self check in, the beds were already prepared for us and very comfortable. In the kitchen we found a coffee machine and tea which was just great. Moreover the building itself used to be a bank! The bathroom was spacious but unfortunately only one on the floor but there were not many guests that day so we didn't struggle. I recommend a short stay close to the airport.

I truly enjoyed my stay in The Little Guesthouse Downtown, a good location. Hanna Maria is very kind, and most of all, I saw the Northern lights near the house above the ocean.

From the opening of the door and meeting Jerzey, I was blessed by the mans helpfulness, he saw that I was struggling to walk so he brought out a chair for me to sit on while he prepared my room. Then I entered my room and lay on the bed. He saw that my ankle was swollen so he offered to bring me a sandwich. He later checked on me again and brought me more food. I heard a piano sound it gave me comfort from my pain. The piano was being played by a young boy so I decided to go out in minus 4 degrees and buy Xmas present for the child as an appreciation to Jerzey kindness. I meet his wife te te and she was surprised, and happy by the kindness I had shown. Bad thing was I didn't realise they had two children, but Jerzey put my mind at rest when he gave me a lift to my other b@b the next day by saying they will share the gift. Just when I was ready to get out of the car he offered me to join him and the family for Xmas meal. I gladly accepted and it was a truly exceptional experience, I even met santa has he called to bring gifts for the children.And I even got one. I eventually returned to England after 5 days and found out my ankle was broken, I had to wait as I did not have health insurance for Iceland. I sent the family the picture of me in a wheelchair and pot on leg. And the reply I got back made me cry from the kind words to the understanding there is kind sincere people out there in this world and I just met a family of them. God bless xx

We were upgraded to the Hotel which is very comfortable. Room was very clean and plenty of conveniences (electrical outlets, fridge, coffee & kettle etc plus good WiFi). Breakfast to die for - great choice and quality.
