Divya and her lovely family especially Minakshi her daughter really gave us true feeling of family homestay, showed us the nearby neighborhood, cooked us the best food we ate in Kerala and helped us in every possible way. We learned a lot on the place and its people. Thanks so much, Divya and family.

Lovely small homestay run by a wonderful family, who took care of my every need (and more) as a solo female traveler. Walking distance to the bird sanctuary (a little dilapidated but worth it for the stork colony) and the lakeshore, and perfect location for walking or cycling along various canals (bikes and directions provided for free). Room was comfortable and well equipped. Breakfasts were fabulous too, as well as conversations with the hosts, who built this charming "wooden castle" as a labor of love. Highly recommended!

Our stay at this charming home stay was truly fantastic! The family who owns it exuded warmth and hospitality throughout our visit. The rates were reasonable, and the meals were not only delicious but also meticulously prepared. The serene surroundings added to the overall tranquility, making it the perfect retreat to unwind. Without a doubt, we will eagerly return if we find ourselves in the area again. A heartfelt thank you to Coconut Palms Village Homestay for an unforgettable experience."

Fabulous stay. Divya, her family, and staff are welcoming and foster a home-like environment. We had engaging conversations and shared stories. The rooms are clean and well-kept. The homestay is located near a quiet rural road that runs alongside a canal and passes through villages and rice fields. We took a pleasant 3-hour walk from the homestay to the main lake, along the canal, where we saw different birds and interacted with villagers.

The homestay was located at a best view point at kumarakom. You can wake up viewing the sunrise from the balcony. The room is very clean with all the facilities. Staffs are so friendly. They were continuously assisting us from beginning. The price is very cheap and so affordable. The staffs arranged us a crise ride for a very cheap rate. Also the food was so delicious. I highly recommend mountde kumarakom for the couples and also for the families

The Homestay is in a great location. You can easily arrange for a boat to collect you by the front and you are almost at the lake. The garden space is very good. It works well for two people who don’t want to share a room.

The location of the homestay & friendliness of the host and the staff was so good and made our stay exceptional. Having breakfast on the balcony with the view of the canal or dinner with the best sunset view was a blast. We saw so many birds, we didn't need to go to the nearby bird sanctuary. Would definitely come back here.
