We stayed in the Igloo, which is not ideally an igloo but a huge room with big glass windows to enjoy the views. The room was really beautiful with a really big and nice comfortable bed. We stayed only for a night with no aurora, wish we had more nights in this beautiful property. Check-in was super easy and the area surrounding the resort is also really beautiful for walks and immersing in the nature! The supermarket was really close by getting food and drinks.

Set on the beachfront in Utsjoki, Holiday Village Valle features a bar. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. First off, I loved the location! It is removed, located about 3km walk on a slight rise out of town. You have a fell behind and across from you. Across from the hotel also is the river Tevo which separates Finland from Norway. It is a raw somewhat savage "far from the madding crowd" beauty up here. I did not want to leave. Highly recommend! Akso, the restaurant is fantastic. Best food had in Finland. Also the rooms very clean had huge windows to look out and view the beauty and the Northern Lights.

Set in Lemmenjoki and close to the Lemmenjoki National Park, this holiday home features a terrace with lake views. A M A Z I N G place that felt like home! We saw the Aurora on the frozen lake, the owner was kind and let us feed his reindeers plus the house was so warm! We collected so many beautiful memories that we hopes to be back in the summertime:)

Originally an old reindeer farm, Kiiloselän Poropirtti offers accommodation in Kakslauttanen. Popular in the area are Urho Kekkonen National Park and Kiilopää, which are only 4.8 km away. Amazing place to feel like your home in Finland Lapland country side. The owners so nice people, and other loyal guests to this place, also very nice. Top experience. I hope I can come again.

Youth Center Vasatokka features accommodation in Inari. This beachfront property offers access to pool at the pool table, free private parking and free WiFi. The living room was very comfortable and the access was easy. we arrived late but it was no problem finding everything even with a closed reception. the staff was very helpful during our stay.

Located in Utsjoki, Lapinkylä features barbecue facilities. This holiday park provides free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. The holiday park features family rooms. The sauna was nice. Kitchen has everything you need. Overall, it was a nice, basic and warm house.

Offering a garden and barbecue, Porotila Toini Sanila is situated in Sevettijärvi, 16 km from the Finland-Norway border. Free private parking is available on site. To see the reeindeers walking between the cabins is just amazing. Our 7 year old connected with the animals and was welcomed by the owners

Aava Sky Village Aurinkomaja features air-conditioned accommodation in Aavasaksa. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Lovely cabin/ lodges up near the top of the ski lift (not in use, as it is summer) Easy to find and very helpful host who left the keys in the main building's letter box so we could arrive at 2300. We had no idea what was happening as we had no phone signal to get text messages but common sense meant we did not have to sleep in the car so very grateful to them for this system. 10/10 - amazing value for money. Lovely spot to explore the hill from with trails both up and down depending on what you want to do We had a beer at midnight in the sun whilst being eaten alive by the mosquitoes! Amazing. Lots of BBQ facilities around as well if you are staying for a while and want to dine under the trees Cabin had plenty of space with double and bunk beds, dining area, kitchen and sauna. Perfect.

Featuring a restaurant, Kilpisjärven Retkeilykeskus is located in Kilpisjärvi, where the borders of all three countries of Lapland meet in the north. Great staff, great location an very nice accomodations, the cabin was AESOME!
