It is a walking distance from Talkeetna center (basically around the corner) and the best part? Travis, the host. He went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, we had a pit fire all together with other guests, treated us with smores and gave us his number in case we needed something while discreetly checking in with us when we were away. Getting to see reindeer roam the property and play in the woods was magical. The owner was attentive and accommodating, going above and beyond. Because of Ken, we experienced the aurora two nights in a row! We had an amazing time and look forward to coming back.

It was very nice and clean yet had a very comfortable feel. This was one of the best stocked places we have stayed at yet! Just about anything we needed was available to us from kitchen needs to extra towels, sheets & consumables. There were extra blankets and throws everywhere. Well organized and easy to find things including brooms & vacuum to clean up any sand or wood shavings that may have come in with us. Also, LOVED the wood stove! One note, the upstairs area with the twin beds is really cute, but the stairs going up are very steep and open so would not be the best for really little children, elderly folks or people who are physically compromised. Definitely recommend this place.

The property was so cute! Lovely cabin tin a the woods and small clearing. The cabin was also in the perfect location to see the lights because it was outside of the city enough to not have too much city lights, but close enough to go to Fairbanks and other cute areas to visit during the day time. The house had everything you needed for a great stay. They even provide firewood for out door fire pit which was a fun night to roast marshmallows. The owners where so sweet even when I had a hard time finding the place do late at night.
