The location in the forest, the house with all the necessary comforts and the small terrace and the lake. The quietness but also the friendliness of the owners!

What a wonderful place! The outside is still the authentic barn but the inside has been completely remodeled and modernized while still keeping some authentic parts of the barn (like wooden beams). There is a big, well equipped kitchen, a large bathroom with more than enough space for toiletries. The main bedroom is on a raised level with a French balcony (I think?) overlooking the living room. It's also really tastefully decorated to make it feel cozy without it becoming too full in a way. There's also an outside garden to sit, with sun chairs and a parasol, which we gladly made us of, just relaxing in the sun at the end of the day, enjoying the quiet of nature and occasional cow bell. The hosts live in the house next door and are a really lovely, friendly and helpful couple. We could also charge our electric vehicle. We sadly only stayed for one night, but I would've loved to have stayed for a whole week
