Each unit is different from each other. They all include a seating area and heating, and some have a fireplace. The interiors give continuity to the rustic-style of the building. Host was waiting for us, always really polite. He also promptly made a few suggestions on where we could go to have a great meal. We followed the advice and, again, exceeded expectations. I also would like to mention that since we were going to take the kids to see the snow, the host advise us were to go in Serra da Estrela as a few spots were closed due to hazards caused by the weather. And this was even before arriving.

Mountain Whisper is a group of rustic houses that offers complete tranquillity and privacy. Located in Gomdramaz, they feature access to a swimming pool surrounded by a deck floor and a lawn, barbecue facilities and free WiFi. Entering this ancient xisto town with its steeps hills and adorable cobble stoned streets was incredible. Cars are parked at the entrance of the village, and we proceeded on foot for the next 100 meters to get to the room. It felt like traveling 100 years back into time, it was fantastic. The elevation of the location is pretty high, which means the views of the surrounding area are breathtaking. All you will hear here are birds chirping and the rustle of leaves. The staff is very welcoming and everyone made sure our room was tidy, and that we had everything we needed. The breakfast options are numerous and the quality was very good.
