Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Pearl's Homestay Matale is a recently renovated holiday home situated in Matale, 27 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall. Breakfast was amazing. Pearl and Ranjan were excellent hosts nothing was too much trouble. They organised a tuk driver for me and Ranjan even came to the train station on my departure. The room was perfect and the bed very comfortable. I would happily recommend this homestay - a perfect retreat.

Amazing stay at Harini Villa. The owner is a really kind personn, helping a lot with good advices and service is amazing. Breakfast is really good with a lot to eat. The place is well located, 15 min walking to Sigiryia rock. The owner organised a safari witch was nice. Best stay for now in Sri Lanka. Thank you Wiki to you and your family.

Very quite, wonderful and friendly people always with a smile. It’s perfect to relax and have a great time. 100% recommendable.

Set in Matale and only 44 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall, Heavens Acres Lodge offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The lodge had a beautiful and peaceful garden filled with trees, creating a serene atmosphere. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessary tools and appliances, including pots, pans, a gas cooker, fridge, and washing machine. The rooms were also nicely arranged and had everything we needed. The bathroom was well-maintained and clean. Overall, it was the best stay we've ever had.

Offering a garden and garden view, Holly Flowers Villa is set in Sigiriya, 4.4 km from Sigiriya Rock and 7.5 km from Pidurangala Rock. I did like the place where the property was and the dinner what we ate here was the best in our stay in Sri Lanka. I would like to come back here anytime.

Featuring a garden, shared lounge and views of river, Riverston Nature Villa is situated in Rattota, 41 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall. The super friendly and very communicative owner gave good tips for hiking and showed us a nice waterfall nearby. Our highlight was that he organized a night-out in the village, showing us around the rice fields and the temple and serving us amazing local food in the village in the traditional way. If you are looking for a great local experience in the nature you came to the right place!

Located in Dambulla, 15 km from Sigiriya, hotel hideaway garage offers free WiFi. A balcony with garden views is offered in all units. We had an amazing stay at the Hideaway Garage. It was our first day in Sri Lanka and we arrived there very early in the morning directly from the airport. Even though it was early we could already have the room without any extra charge. The host is amazing and made our stay very special. He organized everything for us for a fair price, which was great and made our first day in Sri Lanka just perfect. We climbed Pidurangala Rock and went on a Safari, where we saw a lot of elephants. It was just the perfect day. The rooms are super nice and spacious and clean. Thanks again for everything. We would definitely recommend to stay at this place.

With garden views, Vihanga Village is situated in Dambulla and has a restaurant and a 24-hour front desk. It is located 22 km from Sigiriya Rock and provides a business centre. If you are looking for an off the grid place to stay and discover the Dambulla area, I highly recommend the Vihanga Village. A family run place where they even provide the best breakfast ever. The Sambol is to die for with bread. The owner was such a good human that would check on us each morning and provided whatever we asked for. One of our group member had to go to the hospital late night, the owner while being sick himself, drove us to the hospital. I would go back to @vihangavillage each time I am back in the area. A beautiful cabin nestled in the woods. A true natural gem!
