Adjacent to Unawatuna Beach, Sergent House is set in a boutique villa showcasing colonial architecture and originating in the 1800's. We had an amazing stay in the Grand Suite. The boutique hotel is a little hidden beauty. We loved staying there. The people, the room, the tranquiity and the breakfast was amazing. Highly recommend a few days here in the Grand Suite. Great value for money.

It's on the alley in a reasonably quiet neighborhood (there's a mosque down the street, but the call to prayer is mercilessly subdued at night). It's very easy walking to all the sights. There are also several good restaurants in the vicinity and a grocery store 2 blocks away. The house itself is fully equipped and beautifully decorated. The bedroom is kept comfortable with a strong AC. The host is a very nice person.
