I felt at home, very cozy structure in the middle of nature. The structure was clean. The owner speaks a good English, his kindness has been very appreciated by all of us. His advice were very useful. The restaurant, he has recommended, was excellent (if you are looking for traditional food). The bus stop is close to the structure but it is better to come with your own car. The owner was so kind that allowed us to leave our bags at his place, after check out.

Hanok Dasi Bom, a property with a garden, is set in Gyeongju, 22 km from Seokguram, 1.8 km from Gyeongju Station, as well as 1.6 km from Cheomseongdae. Great location. Walking distance to cultural sites and shops and restaurants. Near to stay in an authentic hanok in Korea. It was nice that water, drinks and snacks were provided.

Located in Gyeongju in the Gyeongsangbuk-Do region, Yasun Gallery provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Staying at Yasun gallery made our trip to Korea even more special. We experienced sleeping in this beautiful typical house. The host, who is an artist, is very welcoming. Most of the decorations are made by her. She took care of us and prepared a typical breakfast that was served in her beautiful studio. The location is very peaceful and the garden is beautiful. It’s good to know that is easier to reach by taxi (which was very cheap) or a 15 minutes walk from the closest bus stop and that there are no restaurants or convenience stores around.

Boasting a garden, heated pool and mountain views, Hanok Stay Yeoyeo is situated in Gyeongju. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Nice rooms in a marvelous looking hanok. It is very comfy and clean. Bed is large and nice. Bathroom is great. View from the room is beautiful The landlady is very kind and helpful. Will come again.

Situated in Andong, the recently renovated Kims House Andong features accommodation 5.9 km from Andong Folk Museum and 14 km from Bongjeongsa. Kim was very welcoming and her place is very lovely. Everything was clean and surpassed our expectations. She gave us some tips and we could enjoy our stay in Andong even more because of our stay.

Another world pension, a property with pool with a view and a terrace, is set in Gyeongju, 7.7 km from Gyeongju World, 23 km from Seokguram, as well as 8.1 km from Gyeongju World Culture Expo Park. A spotlessly clean Pension in a lovely location with a dedicated, fantastic host. A very quiet location for those looking to unwind or experience a slower side to Korea, or a break after time in the bigger cities. Our room was large, and very well equipped, including small kitchenette, fridge, large TV, well equipped wet room, dinning table etc. It was spotlessly clean. The rest of the building we experienced (outdoor areas, garden etc) were also maintained to a very high standard. Outside at the property is a large decked area with seating overlooking a lovely wooded valley. There is a large parking area for those arriving by car. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend for travellers looking for something on the slower side for a few days. A couple of notes for potential guests: the property is in a more rural location, and so ideally needs a car or taxi for access. We used a taxi from Gyeongju which took 15/20mins and was reasonably priced. The Pension does not serve evening meals and so guests should either bring supplies or be prepared to travel to a local restaurant. These are not complaints! Just notes. The advert describes the accommodation well. We saw the pool, but travelling out of the summer season so this was not in use at the time. I’m sure it would be an excellent additional facility in the hot Korean summers! We would highly recommend this Pension!

Featuring garden views, Gyeongju Sugi's Guesthouse provides accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 23 km from Seokguram. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation features a balcony. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sugi’s place and her warm hospitality. Her place is very clean and spacious. It has been very thoughtfully furnished and stocked to have everything one needs. I think it looks better than the pictures. Her excellent korean breakfast was thoroughly enjoyed. It’s quiet and peaceful. Her recommendations were quite helpful, regarding local attractions. I would love to stay her place again!

Offering a garden and garden view, Gyeongju Hanok Sohwa is located in Gyeongju, 10 km from Gyeongju World and 23 km from Seokguram. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. We loved everything about the house. It was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The spa in the garden was just perfect after a day exploring the area. The location was great for accessing the old town and places of interest. We would also definitely recommend taking time to visit Place C which is opposite the hanok - a fabulous new art complex with cafe and restaurant.
