This place completely suited us and could not be faulted in any aspect, it was: new, warm, had everything we could need; helped with special requests, was non intrusive and was handy to the motorway and our desired locations.

We loved the location- uniquely placed to enjoy the beauty of the mountains but handy to supermarket, bus stop and a short dander into the gorgeous town of Newcastle. We honestly have never met friendlier people than those we encountered here and in County Down in general. We loved ending the day with the hot tub then getting cosy in the Pjs in our beautiful cabin. Super friendly and super organised hosts . Thank you Catherine. We would love to return soon

Cottage was immaculately clean on arrival. Everything that was needed was already provided for. Thoughtful little extras like the home-made bread and jams. Jan the owner was a wonderfully warm host and made us feel very welcome. The views of the Mourne mountains were epic. The stay was essentially perfect in every way.

Clonlum Holiday Cottages er staðsett í Newry, 12 km frá dómkirkjunni Cathedral of Saint Patrick og Saint Colman, og býður upp á gistingu með ókeypis WiFi. The property was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. It is in a good central location for east Ireland. From this location, we drove to Giants Causeway, Carrick a Rede rope bridge, Belfast, Blackrock County Louth, Dublin, Bray, and Avoca. All drives were 1-2 hours, but so nice to return to one place at the end of the day. The cottage has a wonderful view of Slieve Gullion. We drove around all sides of the mountain and to the top. The drive to the top is absolutely breathtaking!!! The host was wonderful. He checked almost everyday to see if we needed anything and gave us tips on places to see each day. Be sure to try Murphy Bar as it is much more impressive on the inside and the food is great. The local Mace grocery had most things we needed. It is a short drive into Newry for large supermarkets and a shopping mall. The cottage is equipped for cooking so we ate breakfast and dinner there and packed a lunch. I can’t say enough good things about this cottage!!! We stayed there 6 days.

Hilltop Lodge er staðsett í Holywood Hills og býður upp á gistirými með aðgangi að garði. Sumarhúsið er með eldhús og stofu með borðkrók og sjónvarpi. Uppþvottavél og ketill eru einnig til staðar. Cosy, and beautiful place to stay. The house has everything!!! Bronach is a GREAT host.!!! She left a very detailed instructions very easy to follow and find everything. She gave us lots of food as courtesy. And many many more things. Her communication was excellent and always wanted to help and feel at home. We will be back for sure.! Thanks
